PRINTING
All medium size pieces are produced locally in Aspen, CO, with our partner Lolo Art Framing. Guadalupe’s Large pieces are produced by BowHaus in California. BowHaus are a highly regarded Los Angeles-based printer of archival pigment prints. They work with the leading galleries in America and some of the most recognized contemporary photographers. Their proprietorial printing process employs technology that transcends generic digital prints by allowing bespoke allocations of the 12 ink cartridges within the Canon drum printer. All prints are on 315gsm Hahnemühle photo rag Baryta paper and varnished after processing to give endurance and sheen.
Guadalupe’s more contemporary medium, printed on aluminum, are produced in New York, working over 10 years with Blazing Editions. For pieces produced on aluminum click here.
ARCHIVAL PAPER HANDCRAFTED PIECES
All prints are printed on 315gsm Hahnemühle photo rag Baryta paper and varnished after processing to give both endurance and sheen. Our photo rag Baryta paper prints are elegant and timeless.
ALUMINUM PRINTS DIE SUBLIMATION
All prints are printed on aluminum with her partners in New York are dye-sublimation onto aluminum.
Sublimation is the process of going from a solid to a gas, back to a solid - skipping the liquid state. Once the dyes submerge underneath the surface, the process is complete and permanent.
MOUNTING & FRAMING
Guadalupe’s prints are mounted and framed in a quality that befits the print. Guadalupe has partnered with a local Aspen framer, Lolo Art Framing, who has an excellent attention to detail making every piece to perfection.
All archival paper pieces SMALL and MEDIUM are 24X36” and 40X60”. All prints are deckle edge, handcrafted, making each print unique and special. All deckle edge prints are floating on a mat with a shadow box and the option of an Italian rustic brown frame or a heavy and sturdy textured black ash frame depending on the print; sign on the bottom right and numbered.
All Aluminum pieces SMALL and MEDIUM are 24X36” and 40X60” and can be produced with a mat finish, semi-gloss or glossy, they all come mounted on a textured wood black float frame ready to hang. Aluminum prints are not sign in the front, they are delivered with a certificate of authenticity sign and numbered by Guadalupe.
LARGE prints 63X89” are Archival paper prints mounted on canvas wrapped with a beautifully textured liner and a sturdy elegant wood black ash frame; sign on the bottom right and numbered.
X-LARGE prints are 64X96” or 72X108” printed on aluminum as polyptychs.
Polyptychs are 4 panels detached from each other creating a full piece. We recommend installation of polyptychs to have half an inch of space between panels. All polyptychs have an aluminum backing, the piece ‘floats’ half and inch from the wall and they are ready to hang. Please see here instructions to install aluminum pieces.
All X-LARGE pieces can be produced with a mat finish, semi-gloss or glossy.
